1,000 Miles For Brain Tumor Research

Team Fundraising Goal: $4,000.00

About the National Brain Tumor Society:

National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and anyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow. This means effecting change in the system at all levels.

For more information about the National Brain Tumor Society, visit http://www.braintumor.org/.

My mom, Jennie Jousma, lost her battle with Meningioma brain tumors on March 1, 2011, 10 days from her 58th birthday. To honor her memory and to make a difference in the lives of those who are diagnosed with brain tumors, I will be be continuing my fundraising.

My current goal is to walk 1,000 miles between June 19 and December 19, 2014. Because this goal far out passes my marathon walk last year, I have decided to raise the donation level to $4,000.

The gift that research and support is for people and their families who are dealing with brain tumors is much appreciated. The support I received from the National Brain Tumor Society was important to me as my mom dealt with all that she did with her tumors. I am forever grateful for what they do. That is why I choose them as where my donations go.

You can follow the progress on my Facebook Page called, 1,000 Miles for Brain Tumor Research at:

Thank you for any amount you are able to give. Every penny makes a difference.
