About the National Brain Tumor Society:
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and anyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow. This means effecting change in the system at all levels.

Michael was a 50 year old male, who was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, Glioblastoma, in early December 2013. He was a very healthy, active man prior to this diagnosis. After five surgeries / procedures, Mike lost his battle on May 9, 2014. He NEVER "gave up the ship" throughout this battle. Always thought positively that he was going to kick this cancer, and be a survivor. Unfortunately, Mike would take one step forward, and ten steps back, but it never stopped him from fighting. He also said, "it's a great life if you don't weaken", and again he NEVER weakened. He would get up in the morning and say "it's a great day in the morning, babe". Now he can say, it's a great day in Heaven... for surely that is where he is. GBM is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. Every doctor we met with said they have not found the cause of / or any real treatment plan that works for GBM's long term. Mike wanted to help out with this cause, so please help him by making a donation in his honor.
Please join me in the fight against brain tumors by making a donation to my fundraising campaign to support the National Brain Tumor Society.
