Last year we were victorious. But this is a new year. As Michael Buffer bellows before a prize fight: “Let’s get ready to rumble!” In just one minute you can begin rumbling by sending a letter to your Senators urging them to support funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the largest funder of brain tumor research in the country.

Senators Casey (D-PA) and Burr (R-NC) are asking other Senators to join their advocacy to maintain a strong commitment to NIH. Let’s help them by urging our Senators to sign on to the Casey-Burr letter in support of NIH funding. The deadline for Senators to sign on is March 26 so we need to take action today.

For the next several months let’s keep up the drum beat about the importance of NIH funding as we advocate with Congress and the President. Let’s rumble today by sending letters to Senators. I also hope you register for Head to the Hill, our advocacy day in Washington D.C. on May 7 and 8.
