Dear Advocates,
Congress is currently working on legislation that will determine funding levels for fiscal year 2013. As you know, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the largest funder of brain tumor research, and relies heavily on this funding to support critical brain tumor research being conducted across the country.
We must let Congress know how important this research funding is, and why an increase to $32 billion in fiscal year 2013 is essential to advance research and drive the discovery of new treatments. Contact your Members of Congress today. Personalize your letter by sharing your reason for supporting NIH’s ability to continue funding brain tumor research. Then, let your friends and family know that you’ve taken action and that they can too. Our cause needs more voices, and there is strength in numbers.
If you would like to learn more about how NIH is supporting research for new brain tumor therapies, please read our issue brief.
Thank you for taking action in support of brain tumor research.
