Because of You: Closing Out a Fruitful 2013
|
The start of a new year is a time for great hope for what can be accomplished in the coming 12 months. As a community, we continue to fight one of the toughest battles imaginable, but as we heard many times throughout 2013, our collective efforts and dedication to the cause has brought us to the cusp of important advancements in research and therapy development that may yield the results this community desperately needs.
As we close the book of 2013, we wanted to reflect on 10 of the most important steps we took this year on our road to better treatments, and ultimately a cure for brain tumors. The list includes our funded, as well as directed, research programs; biopharmaceutical industry engagement initiatives; policy work with important regulatory agencies like the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA); as well as our collective advocacy efforts toward lawmakers in Congress. None of if would have been accomplished without your support, and for that we remain constantly grateful.
See the full list here. We look forward to building even better one together in 2014.
