Advocacy in August

Earlier this year, hundreds of brain tumor advocates headed to Capitol Hill to give voice to the brain tumor community’s needs for better research, access to treatments, and funding for the National Institutes of Health. From the 21st Century Cures Act to maintain funding for pediatric brain tumor research, we have really made important strides for brain tumor patients and their families. Congress is listening, now they need to hear you.

While Congress is in recess, your elected officials are back in their home states. It’s the perfect time for you to reach out, schedule a meeting, and use your voice for change. Here’s the 2015 August Recess toolkit we created to help you learn the issues, engage your members of Congress, and use your story to benefit the lives of the entire community.

It’s yOUR Fight!
