AUGUST 2016

Spotlight

Advocacy in the Summer

August is the perfect time to meet with your Senators and Representatives while they are in their home states for in-district work until September 2. Take this opportunity to schedule a meeting and urge your members of Congress to take action on legislation that affects brain tumor research. See our August Recess Toolkit and contact Kacey Troy to schedule your meetings along with other advocates. If you don't have time to schedule a meeting but are interested in dropping materials off at your members' local offices, you may locate the closest office at www.house.gov and www.senate.gov. Let's join together to make our voices heard across the country! Together, we can make a difference.
