Clinical Trial Enrolling Patients for Fatigue Study NBTS is committed to the quality of life of brain tumor patients and is supporting a clinical trial studying the effects of the anti-fatigue medication armodavinil in patients with malignant gliomas. Fatigue has been a notable side effect for patients undergoing radiotherapy. While anti-fatigue medication has been beneficial for other cancer patients undergoing radiation no studies have been conducted to investigate its outcome on brain tumor patients. Patients currently being enrolled at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and trial sites will soon open at the University of Virginia and the University of South California, San Diego. Exciting Things to Come in the New Year Stay tuned for the expanded interactive and online offerings from NBTS, from clinical trial matching, webinars, and helpful blogs to online caregiver trainings, and more. Coming soon!
