Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum I am required to raise in order to participate in the Ride?
Adult participants are required to raise $500 within 60 days of the event. Youth participants must raise $100. Registration fees are included in fundraising totals. If a rider has not raised the minimum amount by the day of the Ride, we will require credit card information as a guarantee.

Are dogs allowed at the event?
Please keep in mind that this is a large event. If your pet does not do well in large crowds, please consider leaving them at home.

Can I create team t-shirts?
Yes. Many teams do create T-shirts. We invite and encourage you to celebrate your team. T-shirts, hats, costumes, and accessories are all acceptable. However, please keep in mind that this is a family event.

What time does the ride start?
Registration is from 7 - 8 AM The 50-mile ride begins at 8 AM, the 25-mile ride begins at 9 AM, and the 10-mile ride begins at 9:15 AM The awards program will begin when the last rider returns, around 12:15 PM.

Can I ride and volunteer?
Yes. If you plan to Ride and Volunteer, register as a Rider (pay the fee), then email your contact information to RideInfo@braintumor.org. Subject: Rider wants to volunteer. Note that volunteers are not considered registered participants. In order to participate in the event, you must register.

What are the emergency management procedures in place for the event?
The safety and security of our event participants has always been a critical consideration in our event planning process, and we will continue to remain vigilant in this area.

Every National Brain Tumor Society Walk, Race and Ride has a security presence on-site from set-up through the conclusion of the event. These officers have the responsibility to conduct multiple security sweeps of the site to identify any potential risks, and respond accordingly. In addition to security personnel, all Brain Tumor Walks, Races and Rides have an ambulance and emergency medical staff on-site, as well as a first-aid tent.

Volunteers only: Register here. Click the Volunteer button, there is no fee. We need 100 volunteers, particularly those who will not be riding. Please consider volunteering and/or recruiting friends and family to help us!
