Race for the Brain

Support My Fight Against Brain Tumors

I am participating to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause and that is why I am running!

On 2/14/14, I found out that I had a malignant brain tumor, it was removed on 2/26/14.  It has been a very difficult time for me and my family.  I am particapating in this race in hopes that money raised will cure brain cancer so that no one has to go through what my family and I have endured. Running this race will be my 1st 5K after surgery and will be 4 months to the day that my brain tumor was found.  Can't wait to stand at the starting line with all of my team members and excited about crossing the finish line.

Funds raised here helps to direct promising research, support families who are currently coping with the effects of a brain tumor diagnosis, and advocate for change.

I have joined this movement to bring the issue of brain tumors to the forefront. Progress is being made, but there is so much more to be done. Please support my efforts!
