I am participating to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause and that is why I am running (jogging/fast walking/whatever you want to call it!) A dear freind of mine, who I've known since first grade, (you know one of those friends that are more less family) has been bravely fighting for three years now. The way she has faced this fight with such strength, courage, grace, and unwavering faith, has been nothing short of inspirational. This is something that we all can do to help. Participate in this 5K with me. Join our team Head Strong on October 6th...don't worry, you will finish in plenty of time to see the Bengals beat the Patriots. Me and running don't really get along, but you can walk it too. Trust me, you probably want to be there to laugh at me. If you can't run, but still can find it in your heart to make a donation, that would be much appreciated as well. So if you were going to buy me a beer next time you saw me, please donate that money instead. A shot, same thing. If you owe me money, I still want it, but you can donate half. All the loose change in your couch and your car, collect it and donate please. :) you guys get it. This will be fun! If you are reading this...I love you! Below is the stuff that I didn't write
Funds raised here helps to direct promising research, support families who are currently coping with the effects of a brain tumor diagnosis, and advocate for change.
I have joined this movement to bring the issue of brain tumors to the forefront. Progress is being made, but there is so much more to be done. Please support my efforts!
