I am participating to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2011 we spent 15 months fighting our way through 3 surgeries, radiation, chemo, a clinical trial, and everything in between. Eric went to Jesus on March 22nd 2013. What we experienced as a couple has forever changed our lives and those of our family and friends. Eric lived with intensity and integrity. I will forever be passionate about this cause and that is why I am running! I run for Eric, for who he was, for how he fought, for the life he still wants for me, and for all of those out there who should never have to go through what we did.
Funds raised here helps to direct promising research, support families who are currently coping with the effects of a brain tumor diagnosis, and advocate for change. Having lived in the power of a supportive community of family and friends, I know I can count on many of you to join me in my efforts to support this great cause. Join the movement and move with me. Let's do it for Eric. GO TEAM KNAUSS!!!
