About the National Brain Tumor Society:

National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and anyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow. This means effecting change in the system at all levels.

We have a rigorous and thoughtful agenda, integrating research and public policy to bridge critical gaps. Starting with discovery science, to clinical trial design and the development of new therapies, there are many opportunities to make improvements and speed the momentum of new findings.

It’s time to build on progress and transform tomorrow, today.

On February 23, 2013 I thought my life ended. My best friend, my mentor, my daddy lost his battle with recurrent glioblastoma grade 4 at the age of 59. My dad was a strong Christian, military figure, police officer, loving father, grandfather and husband. The world around me stopped, I couldn't hear or see anything. I felt like I was living outside of my body. I kept saying to myself, there has to be a reason, there has to be something I can do. Our Lord led me to the National Brain Tumor Society where I can do something about it. I can help raise money to find a cure so another daughter or son doesn't have to lose thier parent, or another parent doesn't have to lose their child to a brain tumor. I will not allow my father's death be the death of his name. My life didn't come to an end, I just started a new chapter.

Please join me in the fight against brain tumors by making a donation to my fundraising campaign to support the National Brain Tumor Society.
