In May of 2011 my family had our world turned upside down when my Daddy was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (an incurable, extremely aggressive brain cancer). He fought so hard for 17 months then on September 23, 2012 my Daddy was free from the chains of cancer. During his fight a passion grew in me to do everything I can to make sure awareness is brought to this beast. His fight is over............mine is going strong. I am honored to do this Race for HOPE with sisters I've grown to love that have walked in the sames shoes as me as each has also lost her sweet Daddy. We must find a cure. This is a start.
