Bay Area Brain Tumor Walk

Mayra's Tumor Terminators

My name is Mayra. I was diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor in early 2017. It was something that wrecked havoc on me, physicaly, mentally and emotionally. I had surgery to remove the tumor on July 19, 2017 and every day since then has been dedicated to working towards a full recovery. I am hoping to advocate for survivors and victims of brain tumors because I personally know how difficult the journey through diagnosis, treatment and recovery can be. I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
