Ride For Gill 2017!
This June, it will be 17 years since we lost my little sister, Gillian Tara Shor, to a malignant brain tumor when Gill was just 13.
In 2007, my parents, brother and I began participating in the Brain Tumor Society's Annual Ride For Research. It was an inspiration to be surrounded by so many people with the a common goal of fighting such a devastating disease. We have since made the ride and the post-ride celebration of Gill's life an annual event with our friends and growing family.
This year's ride will be especially memorable because it is just one month before Jason and I welcome our own little girl into this world! We can only hope that she has half the spirit, spunk and love for life and family that her Auntie Gill showed in her short time here.
This year's ride will take place on Sunday, May 21, and we ask that you contribute whatever you can to our cause!
