TEAM LAUREN -- JOHN'S PAGE
On May 21st I will be riding with Team Lauren for the eighth year in a row to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. My wife, Lauren, fought brilliantly against her glioblastoma (gbm), aided along the way by novel drugs and drug combinations in clinical trials. Still, even with the finest care and some of the most promising treatments available, like the vast majority of gbm patients, Lauren could not stay ahead of her disease and ultimately succumbed to it. The "best available" treatment options remain woefully inadequate. So, Team Lauren continues to ride in Lauren's memory to help fund medical research that will make a difference for brain cancer patients everywhere. Today, with the president promising drastic reductions in government funding for basic cancer research (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/22/opinion/why-trumps-nih-cuts-should-worry-us.html), your help is more important than ever. Please click the "DONATE" button on this page if you would like to help. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your support!
