Welcome to My Personal Page
We ride memory of Poppa, as B.J. was known to Maya, my daughter. He was my dad. So in his memory, we ride remembering and honoring too many of our friends who have also encountered the challenges that come with a brain tumor diagnosis.
When Maya was four years old, her Poppa was diagnosed his brain tumor. During his illness, she'd sit on his lap and they'd play animal lotto and she'd giggle at the awesome animal sounds he made as they played. My memories stretch through more than 60 years, encompassing many precious moments together. My dad was my biggest backer, with me for every step I took, even when my steps seemed unconventional and unexpected.
Join B.J.'s Team by riding with us or by contributing in support of our ride. Many times my dad told me how much he wanted to help others who were afflicted with this disease. For many of you, this will be your 13th year on B.J.'s Team. We are grateful you've been with us for the 300 miles we've biked so far on this annual Brain Tumor Ride. For those of you joining B.J.'s Team for the first time, welcome. We thank you.
Fulfilling my dad's wish can happen only when you join B.J.'s Team.
