Welcome to My Personal Page
My mother-in-law, Memere, fought the good fight against brain cancer. Making the milestones of attending her son's wedding and then meeting the next crop of grandchildren. She fed my youngest Dola her first solid food, whipped cream. Memere's motto could have been: Eat dessert first. And why not. She smiled at Pepere's birthday party when my Maddy gave him a Barbie doll. For a Barbie doll was the best present she could think of for her Pepere.
I ride for Memere, and I will ride for Memere, every year, until I can't ride another pedal stroke. But I know there is a bigger picture, and thousands of other families who have similar stories and experiences. Funds raised here, in Memere's memory, are for them. To live and to love.
