Welcome to My Personal Page
Hi friends and family,
I am riding with Team Bunny again in the Boston Brain Tumor Ride for Research this Sunday with my family and my friends. This is Team Bunny’s 12th year and we are riding in honor of my grandmother, Bebe (“Bunny” Hannaway), who passed away from a devastating GBM multiforme brain tumor when I was only 2 years old. I still remember her and the fun we had together! We all miss her every day.
Also, my school has a special project for the 7th grade class called “Do Something” where we have to work together with friends to raise support, funds and or awareness for something that is important to us. I am working with my friends, James and AJ, to raise both funds and awareness for the Brain Tumor Society. As I said, my grandmother passed away from a GBM multiforme IV brain tumor and sadly, James Doody’s grandfather also passed away from the same horrible GBM. GBMs are the most deadly form of brain cancer and there has been little progress in finding a cure for brain tumors over the past decades. James and AJ will be riding with us on Sunday.
Together, my family and friends are hoping to raise awareness to let people know how devastating brain tumors are. We also need to raise money for research so that we get closer to finding a cure for brain cancer. We are all riding this Sunday, May 21 and we hope that you will support us and the National Brain Tumor Society in finding a cure to stop brain tumors.
Thank you very much!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
