Welcome to My Personal Page
When I was 11 years old, my sister, Linda Bogle, 8 years old died from an inoperable brain tumor located under her brain stem. She showed signs of illness around Christmas time and was gone by January 4th. Granted this was 57 years ago and much has changed since then, but another sister, Carol, has researched Linda's form of tumor and has found that there does not exist a cure to this day.
Fortunately, I discovered this fund raising event from a friend of mine. I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort! You may make a donation to my page by clicking on the website below:
The National Brain Tumor Society is aggressively driving strategic research that will lead to therapies for adult and pediatric brain tumors. On a national level, The National Brain Tumor Society advocates for public policy that meets the critical needs of the brain tumor community and also provides comprehensive information and resource. I believe in the National Brain Tumor Society - won’t you join me?
There are 700,000 people in the US living with a brain tumor. This year 210,000 more will be diagnosed. I ride for Linda and all of these people, their caregivers, family and friends who have been or will be affected by their diagnosis. Please support my efforts and make a donation to this important cause.
It’s easy to make a gift online - or you can print off a donation form to send a gift by mail.
