Welcome to My Personal Page
On April 15, 2015 I lost my young, 54 year old dear sister to a 2 1/2 year fight with brain cancer. Mariellen Perkins Rowe was brave and courageous in the face of fear. She did everything she possibly could to save herself so she could be here for her two beautiful children Heather and Danielle and her husband Scott. It just was not enough and watching this cancer, like all cancers, take her slowly from us, was painful. This year I want to help to make a difference. I have never done any fundraising before for this type of personal goal on social media! it is the first year, since she has left us, that I feel like I can reach out to my community of friends in the spirit of giving and self-service. I hope you will join me to help reach my my small goal of $500 and maybe go beyond that number. I know this will make a difference in someone else's life while they and their families go through this battle and provide the resources they need to survive.
I'm participating in the Boston Brain Tumor Ride because I want to make a difference in the lives of those affected by brain tumors. Join me!
