Boston Brain Tumor Ride

Tumor Zoomers

I know you get many requests to support worthy causes, but today I am asking you to support the National Brain Tumor Society and my friends who are riding for a cure for brain cancers.
I'm very proud that my friends are riding for me. As you know, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor about 18 months ago. I'm lucky to be alive, but the tumor has totally changed my life. I used to be an active runner, cyclist, hiker, skier and more. My symptoms now make it impossible for me to enjoy many of these activities and those I can still do, I do so as a rank beginner.

Worst of all, after being stagnant for over a year, the tumor is starting to regrow - not good news

The National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure for people living with a brain tumors today and those who will be diagnosed in the future.

The National Brain Tumor Society is highly rated by Charity Navigator; meaning it is effective, efficient and well run.  As a result, you can be assured that more of your donation will be spent where the organization believes it will be most effective - not on lavish salaries or other administrative costs.

I hope you will support this cause and my friends and if I can, I'll be out there on a bike
