Hello friends and family..
As we (hopefully!) move into spring again, Team Bunny is gearing up for our 11th annual ride for the National Brain tumor society ~ riding to honor our mother, Bunny Hannaway. Most of you know Bunny's story already...we don't want anyone to forget her and what a beautiful person she was throughout her life..
This year as the ride gets closer (too close!), we were thinking, should we take this year off? Are people tired of hearing from us? Are we ready to ride again? Are we still committed? We started thinking about a few things and quickly realized that no, we are not taking a year off, that we most definitely riding again on May 15th! We are riding not only for our mother, but for all the many people including children and families that are battling this horrible disease. We are riding to show our kids how blessed they are that they can ride because they are healthy and strong. We are riding so that our kids realize how important it is to care and to be passionate about a cause - and Team Bunny is passionate about helping the Brain tumor Society. We are riding to support and to give back - even if we 'don't really feel like it'. And this year, we are all riding with our kids.
Yes, this is about raising both money and awareness for the National Brain Tumor Society. But we also realize that everyone has a cause or a charity or something that they are passionate about..and that is great! We have raised over $300.000 over the past 10 years thanks to more than generous donations from family, friends and even strangers. If you can and you would like to continue to support Team Bunny and the Brain Tumor Society, we thank you with all our hearts! Any donation is greatly appreciated. If not, we completely understand. And, if you are so inclined, please consider riding with us and bring your kids along! It is a beautiful, inspiring day for everyone!
