Boston Brain Tumor Ride

The Matt Pack

Team Matt Pack is back. Last year's ride was a great success. We have raised over $30,000.00 in 3 years

As most of you may know, Matt's battle with brain cancer ended in 2017. He fought the horrific disease with amazing grace, determination and spirit. The Matt Pack will continue to ride in his memory and in support of his father Bill and all those others who are now suffering from this disease or who may be diagnosed in the future. A cure will come. Our efforts will help.

It's now time for us to get off our couches and to start getting ready for this year's ride. The ride date is May 20, 2017. The ride has 10, 25, 40 and 62 mile routes. The rides all start and end in Waltham. Ride participants commit to raising $500.00 in donations for the National Brain Tumor Society.

I hope all of our past riders will be able to participate again, but I understand that that may not be possible. I would also hope that our past team members may be able to recruit some friends and family to join in the ride. Remember how good you felt at the end of the ride. Let's share that experience with others. Let's make this the most successful year yet for the Matt Pack.

I will sponsor training rides for any riders who might be interested. I would also be more than willing to join any other member who might be interested in hosting a training ride on one of their favorite routes. Let's go Matt Pack. Let's get registered, let's get fit, let's get going on reaching our fundraising goals.
