BE A STARR - JOIN TEAM STARR - HELP FIND A CURE

The Brain Tumor Ride is a fun and inspirational day where the brain tumor community unites to inspire hope and take action in the fight against brain tumors.

Progress in this fight starts one team, one rider, and one dollar at a time. Like the National Brain Tumor Society, we are fiercely committed to finding a cure.

Meet Team Starr:

Captain - Sandy Starr - A veteran rider. He loves to ride in the rain but prefers to ski powder. His bike is named "Dark Starr" and is very fast! He was new knees and is better than ever.

Patti Goldberger is a veteran of many Brain Tumor rides. She got a new bike last year, she calls it "White Lighting". It is very fast but is prone to flat tires. We miss the basket she had on her old bike.

Emma Starr - There is a rumor that this former Team Starr rider will be riding again this year. We hope so.

Tyler Starr - Rookie of the year two years ago, will be riding this year and he has a new bike!

Bradley Starr - Bradley is a first time rider this year. He is a teacher and hopefully can teach Team Starr a few new tricks.

Julie Starr Duker - Julie is a very good rider and former hockey player but isn't sure if she can ride this year. She maybe too busy making brisket or traveling to Tierra Del Fuego, who knows. We hope she joins us

Andy Gillies - The team doctor. He is very busy and we hope that he gets in some training rides before the event.

David "le Poulet Noir" Elan is now an excellent skier. Le Poulet can't ride this year. We will miss him.

Dianne Hurley - Team Starr hasn't heard from this former ice hockey player yet. There is a rumor that she is biking up from New York City the day before the ride to get some training in before the ride on Sunday.

The Dashe Family - Team Starr hopes that John, Ben, John and William are riding this year. Team Starr loves families who ride.

Sue Bear - Is this powerful rider joining Team Starr this year? Who knows, only time will tell.

Jo-Anne Haney Tilton -  Team Starr hopes Jo-Anne will be riding this year. Jo-Anne taught Team Starr an important lesson, that one can bike ride and shop at the same time! Also, she is a doctor and Team Starr needs all the medical support it can get

Jennifer Silver is an excellent rider. She will always be on Team Starr even if she dosen't ride.

Webmaster and Ground Control Raine Figueroa.

Spiritual Leaders Jason Starr and Jake Duker.

Sponsorship - Bear Duker is trying to get Team Starr sponsored. I wish he would because Team Starr needs some swag. Also, Bear is trying to get Draft Kings to do a fantasy event for the ride.

Team Accountant - Starr Finer Starr LLP.

Team Pet - Algernon the cat

Team Beverage - Magic Hat 9 and/or Rolling Rock.
