Race for Hope, DC - May 4, 2014
David, Skye and Norah Bennett (aka Team Winky) are participating in the Race for Hope DC, for the sixth year, IN MEMORY of David's father William WINKY Bennett. He passed away on August 3, 2007 of a Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumor at the very young age of 67. My father was very active (an avid cycler) and in keeping with his positive outlook on life, we have been very active in supporting brain tumor organizations since his passing from this terrible disease.
This cause is very important to us and we ask that you consider supporting our effort to raise funds and awareness in battling brain tumors.
The Race for Hope DC raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and support services for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Proceeds benefit the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
