Welcome to My Personal Page
Elizabeth L. Cressman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, and friend, lost her battle with a brain tumor on Christmas Day, 2010. She was extremely positive and fought until the end. I named our team, "It's a Good Day!" because every morning she would wake up and announce that today was a good day. Despite everything she was going through, she was happy to be alive and be surrounded by loved ones. In her mind, there was nothing better than that. Each day, she would tell anyone who would listen that today was a good day. Her undying faith and constant positive attitude has inspired me to live each day to the fullest.
With her positive attitude guiding me, I have dedicated myself to raising awareness for brain tumors/cancer. In memory of my grandmother, I will be running in the Race for Hope in DC for a fourth year. Our team far exceeded my expectations the last three years, and this year my goal is to do even better.
