Hey Everyone?Let?s go racing!
Well wouldn?t you know there?s a race for brain tumors!
On May 31st 2011, Bill came home from the Pentagon asking me to take him to the ER. His leg had gone numb 3 times that morning, once causing him to fall over, with accompanied ringing in his ear and a blurry circle in his vision. We went to the ER at Ft. Belvoir and we were told that Bill had a brain tumor. With us coming up on the first anniversary of finding out Bill had a brain tumor, what better way than to finish out the year than to race and to raise money for continued research. We will be participating in The Race for Hope on May 6th in Washington, DC. Please consider joining us in running/walking the race. If you are unable to join us, please consider donating to this wonderful cause.
The Race for Hope DC, a 5K (run/walk) course in the nation's capital, is a fun and inspiring way to join forces in the fight against brain tumors by raising funds for research. It is one of the largest fundraisers in the country benefiting the brain tumor community and the proceeds support National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
Thank you as always for your support!
