I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on May 6 - as always, I'll be helping Americans queue for race day registration. This photo is of Margaret Welsh and me at the 2005 race; this will be my thirteenth year supporting this wonderful event.
My friend Carol Welsh is a super survivor of an ependymoma brain tumour, which has reoccured several times in her brain, and in 2014 and in 2016, spread down her spine. She's a wonderful person and we need to find a cure. For more information about Carol's story, link here: http://www.adultependymomabraintumor.com/
The race couldn't happen without the support of all the volunteers. Carol's sister Margaret Welsh has helped organize more than 300 volunteers each race. If you'd like to volunteer for the race, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks again for your support.
