Race For Hope - DC
This is my 6th consecutive year participating in The Race For Hope - DC, and I'm happy to be back with my teammates doing what we can to fund important research in the fight against brain cancers. Although my professional career has included working on cancer-fighting drugs, being part of the Race For Hope has been one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences of all. I became aware of the Race For Hope through David Cook in 2009 and felt compelled to join, even though I didn't know a single soul that would be there. I was so touched by the strength and determination of the survivors I met, and the compassion and committment of the folks involved with putting this event on that I vowed to be here every year. It is my favorite day of the year, and I'm thrilled to share it with many friends that are like family now.
The Race for Hope - DC raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and support services for brain tumor patients and their families. Proceeds benefit the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
