In May of 2010, I attended my first Race for Hope in Washington, D.C.  At that time I had no idea how much this Race would affect my life.  I was simply going for the chance to run in a 5K and be amongst fellow David Cook fans and some really incredible friends.  Little did I know that approximately one month before this run an old friend (actually my very first boyfriend) conveyed that he was suffering from brain cancer and had little time left.  At that time I vowed to run the race in his honor and did so, as well as having his picture displayed on the "Wall of Hope" for survivors and those who had lost their battle.  My good friend Joe died just a few short months later and the sting is still as fresh as it was yesterday.  Please help me in providing the needed funding to help find a cure to this terrible, life-stealing disease.
