The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cassidy Turley raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and support services for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!

My beloved mom was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme in January of 2008 and lost her fight on May 26, 2009 just 4 days after her 67th birthday.

I will be participating in the race in her memory and in the hopes that a cure will be found someday.  She was so hopeful when she started her treatment that she would be cured and she never lost faith up until the very end...she fought with so much courage and I was never so proud of her.

This is my 4th year and I hope to be able to continue to participate as long as my body lets me!
