I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. The National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure are making strides for a cure - but more needs to be done. Shannon (Newton) Erdman joined this cause 5 years ago & I will join her in the walk. I'm truly blessed to have her not only as a friend but a sister. We're walking in honor of her father Charlie Newton who passed away on October 28, 1993 after a 10 month battle with a brain tumor. Though I never met him, I feel I know him through stories and being a part of the Newton Family. We're also supporting our friends on G-Force in memory of their friend, father, and loving husband, Mike Giannini who also lost his battle to brain cancer at such a young age. Both of their lives were cut short but their memories live on.  The Race for Hope helps to raise money for brain cancer research and support services for those battling brain cancer.
