It's that time again, friends! Can you believe that it's my 5th year participating in this race? Each year, I run/walk the course. This year, I've deceded to offically train, be timed and run the entire 3.2 miles. It's a goal that I've always wanted to accomplish and I know that with the proper conditioning, I can do it!
In the next few months, I'll be tracking my progress on RunKeeper so please feel free to add me if you use the app. My hope is to not only bring awareness about brain tumors but also inspire others that nothing is impossible. Therefore, my perpetual wish stands: together we will be 3.2 miles closer to finding a cure and another loved one won't be taken away from their family and friends.
Please consider donating to support brain cancer research. No amount is too small and even a dollar is a little closer to reaching this goal. We're in this together!
*These great lives have been lost too soon to this devastating disease, and it is with profound honor to run for them:
