BASEHOAR'S BRAINIACS & MAINE~IACS! 2019 Race For Hope DC
AN UPDATE ON KATIE KOBBE . . . see below . . .
On Sunday, May 5th, BASEHOAR’S BRAINIACS & MAINE~IACS! will be honoring Rich’s memory by walking in our 10th Annual RACE FOR HOPE DC! Because of all of you, we have raised over $140,790.77 since 2010 and yet, we have so much work to do.
As we speak, my friend Cindy Kobbe is in LA, by her daughter's side as she recovers from brain surgery that she had a few weeks ago. Katie Kobbe is beautiful, just 24 years old, and though her tumor was benign, she has been on a roller coaster ride of severe pain and several setbacks. RACE FOR HOPE DC is about finding a cure for stinkin' brain cancer to be sure, but it is also about treating brain tumors that are benign yet often complicated. Please remember Katie and her family in your prayers as they navigate through this tough, tough journey. (KATIE KOBBE IS HOME IN MARYLAND AFTER 6 WEEKS IN LOS ANGELES/SAN DIEGO WHERE SHE UNDERWENT BRAIN SURGERY (BENIGN) AND REHABILITAION! SHE'S DOING GREAT, LOOKING FABULOUS AND ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY!!! SPEAKING OF MIRACLES, THANK YOU GOD FOR WATCHING OVER KATIE AND HER FAMILY!!!)
This year, we are honored to be joined by two other teams, "ZitoStrong" and "reMARKables". We HOPE that you can join our teams at RACE FOR HOPE DC on Sunday, May 5th. If you cannot be with us on Race Day, we HOPE you can join our team as a “virtual runner” with a donation to support our fight against stinkin' brain tumors/cancer.
On behalf of BASEHOAR’S BRAINIACS & MAINE~IACS!, we humbly thank you for your support from the bottom of our hearts.
B & Li’l Miss Nittany
