Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for your interest in supporting The Race for Hope - DC. This annual event has raised millions of dollars to support innovative research initiatives and support services for brain tumor patients and their families.
This amazing event started with Lionel and Sandy Chaiken and another family. Lionel encouraged me to participate on his team in 2011 and I was priviledged to spend the day with his family.
In 2011, I was running to support a wise, curious and courageous person Dr. Harvey Rabin who hired me to come to the DC area. Harvey died of brain cancer after a long challenging battle.
Yet, one week after the 2011 event, my son Ryan had a brain tumor diagnosed and successfully removed. The support of Lionel and Sandy meant alot to me as we were going through the challenges people face with health issues as critical as a brain tumor. Ryan is back in college doing well.
I dedicate this run to Ryan.
Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
I am grateful for your contribution to honor Ryan and Harvey or someone you may know who has struggled with brain cancer.
