Last year I was diagnosed with a grade 2 ependymoma.  My wonderful doctors were able to remove it from my top 2 vertebrae, cerebellum, brain stem, and 4th Ventricle.  It was pretty big! I followed that up with radiation treatments at Duke.  Now I check in frequently with the amazing team at Georgetown Lombardi as they watch for anything that might try to creep back.

If you'd like to read more about my type of tumor, you can do that here: http://www.cern-foundation.org/

Please join me in raising funds to continue research so that everyone with any kind of brain diagnosis can have hope.

Love,

Kristina
