Hello family and friends, I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. In 2009 my brother, Cleveland (Howie), was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Since that time I have become more aware of the large number of people, both children and adults, who are diagnosed with brain cancers and the impact that this disease has on the people who are diagnosed, their families and friends. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action and need your help.

The National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure are making strides for a cure - but more needs to be done. The Race for Hope – DC, presented by Cassidy Turley, raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and to provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. This year we formed a team called ‘Howie's Homies’ to help raise money and awareness about this important cause. So far we have over 60 people on our team who are raising money for this cause and participating in the walk / run. Please join my effort through donating on my page or on our team page, or joining our team as a walker/runner on Sunday, May 4th.

Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors! Together we can make this disease go away.
