Hello.... My name is Debbie and I was Willie's significant other and partner for 13 years. This is my first year with the walk/run event and I hope you will unite with me and others on our team to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors.

Willie lost his battle with a stage 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor on February lst, 2014. He was only 55 and was taken from his family, friends and co-workers much too young. He was our rock and kept us grounded and truly an inspiration to all who knew him. Words can't explain the emptyness I feel inside without him now. But his great attitude and strength he had is helping me to keep going and to become an advocate to this cause to cure brain tumors.

He was well loved by many and was involved with many organizations within the company he worked for. His work was his passion as President of Robinson Terminal Warehouse Corporation and he never said no to anyone when someone asked for help. He himself never gave up hope during this terrible cancer and fought to the end. Even one of is last wishes was to have a pedicure with all his hunting buddies. It was an event that everyone that was a part of will forever have those memories. Even Duck Dynasty placed the photos and story on their facebook page. And they went one step further by sending everyone that participated in the pedicure a personal letter and photo signed by all the members of Duck Dynasty. This was amazing and Willie was so greatful.

Willie will always be remembered as a compassionate and loving person who would do anything for anyone in need so it is our turn to do what he would have done to help others in need to fight this terrible cancer. Please donate or join our team and tell all your friends and co-workers and family about this event on May 4th.  We all need to fight together as he once did to find a cure for this cancer.

Kick - off dinner to be held at Glory Days in Lorton on Sunday, April 27th from 5 p.m - 7:30 p.m. Ask for a copy of your receipt and give to Debbie Webb and 10% of total bill will be donated to our Team. We will have raffles and specially designed t-shirts sold if not able to participate in the run/walk.
