Race for Hope - DC

The Walking Mecca

Please consider joining us in our 1st year of walking. The event is held on Sunday, May 4th, 2014 in Washington, DC.

Our mom, Nancy, was first diagnosed with an astrocytoma in 2007, but through one successful craniotomy, several months of radiation therapy, and a relentlessly positive spirit, she fought off cancer. When the tumor returned in the summer of 2013, she underwent another craniotomy and many months of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and while continuing to tackle chemotherapy treatments and therapy sessions, she is fighting off cancer once again, as the positive, inspirational, selfless, beautiful person she is.

We would love to have you join our Race for Hope family! If you can't join us in DC, please consider donating or signing up as a virtual walker. We see the Race for Hope as a great opportunity to come together as a team, as a family, and as friends to raise awareness about brain tumors, and raise money for research. Every effort brings us one step closer to hope.

The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cassidy Turley raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors.

Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
