We run in honor of Raju Khemani, lost to us in this world August 2012 but forever living in our hearts. Life member and long-time President of the Annandale Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD), as well as a Fire-Fighter/EMT, Raju was involved in many health-related charities. Raju's legacy is one of love and devotion to family, service to community, compassion, personal integrity, accountability, high moral, ethical, and personal standards, and professional expertise. Raju worked hard but took time along the way to laugh, play, and make the most of each day.
