As many of you know, our Dad, Lee Stephens, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer in October of 2015. With Mom and Dad leading the way, we've been fighting this battle together ever since. Nothing about a situation like this is easy, but it has absolutely reinforced something that Dad had already taught us - to make the most of every single day.
The Race for Hope - DC raises funds to support innovative research initiatives specifically for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. We had over 35 people join us in the rain last year and it really was a great experience; Dad had a blast. Whether you can make it for the 20th annual 5k on Sunday May 7, 2017 or not, please know that your support is something we appreciate more than words can express. A big thanks to all.
