The Race for Hope - DC presented by DTZ raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
As you may know, my mother Gloria Meszaros lost her battle with a brain tumor on October 7, 2014 and I would like to honor her life including her struggles for the past 2 1/2 years with raising funds to find a cure for this dreadful disease. She never let it defeat her even as she struggled to accept all the changes that the brain tumor brought to her life. She is an inspiration to me on how I choose to live my life from this day forward. She was greatly loved and is missed very much.

Who always wore a night gown to bed
Who gave me great, big hugs
Said to me, I will always love you
Who wore Michigan State gear
Who had bright, blue eyes
Who went to Church every Sunday
Who said Go Michigan State
Who organized everything
Is coupons and home décor
Whose smile makes you smile
Who did Meals on Wheels
Whose hair was as grey as a cloud on a stormy day
Who wore earrings that shined like her beautiful eyes.
