Hello and welcome to our #TeamJuliStrong Race Page!
In July 2017, only 5 weeks after diagnosis, we lost our amazing Juli Sadler to an inoperable stage IV glioblastoma (GBM) brain tumor. The day she left us, we lost a very caring, giving person who would help anyone she could, no matter how big or small the need. In her honor and that of so many others affected by brain cancer, Team Juli Strong has joined the fight; for those we've lost and those who battle these terrible diseases today and everyday, their families and caregivers. We're taking action and we need YOUR help.
The National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure are working hard to find a cure for both children and adults - but more needs to be done. Help us help them. Please consider joining our team, recruiting team members, raising funds, giving what or how you can and increasing brain cancer awareness. Every bit helps in the fight against brain tumors.
We had a great day on the National Mall in Washington, DC on May 6, 2018, at the "Race for Hope" 5K walk/run. It was a day we will not forget. Over 8,000 walkers and runners joining together to help find a cure for brain tumors.
To date, with your generous support, we've raised over $21,000! The fight is not over. Let's keep the momentum going!
Currently, there is no cure for GBM, but remember our team motto; "Today's truth doesn't have to be tomorrow's truth".
Join the fight and help us defeat GBM!
With hope and determination,
