In Loving Memory of
Robert "Willie" Taylor
June 12, 1958 - February 1, 2014
Willie was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer in May of 2013. He had brain surgery but unfortunately the surgeon was not able to remove all of the tumor. He proceeded to have treatment at John Hopkins with radiation and chemo - Temodar. Thru it all he continued to work each day as much as possible as he was President of Robinson Terminal Warehouse Corp and this was his passion. Willie had such a great attitude and he would tell everyone he knew that he was going to beat this cancer. However, in October 2013 he became weaker but was able to endure a second surgery in December 2013 to remove this aggressive tumor which had come back even more. This tumor took a toll on Willie and he passed away at home surrounded by his family on February 1, 2014.
He was only 55 years old and left us much too soon. He was loved by many and he would always say if he could make at least one person smile, then he had done his job that day. He made many of us laugh and smile. He always finished his email after his name with a quote by John Quincy Adams..."If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader". He was a leader to all who knew him.
Willie is survived by his son Willie, daughter Christin, three grandchildren Dakota, Gavyn and Ava, his parents Robert and Betty Taylor, sisters, Cindy Foss, and Teri Adams, brother Ronnie Taylor and many family members and friends.
