2018 Race For Hope - DC

Willie Strong

When Willie Hughes was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016 we immediately thought of ways we could help Kevin, Claire and Willie fight this disease. The Race for Hope was four months after his first diagnosis. We  got some friends together in the pouring rain and walked side by side with Willie and the Hughes family. Last year, the outpouring of support was absolutely amazing! Not only did Team Willie Strong end up being one of the top fundraisers but we were the biggest team out there!!

Sunday, May 6th the Race is Back!

Please join us and make this the biggest and best Willie Strong Team yet!! Even if you are unable to participate in person, please register as a virtual runner and support the team! Thank you for all of your love and support as we stand with Willie and help fight for a cure.

The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cushman & Wakefield raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
