2018 Race For Hope - DC

The POD Squad

The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cushman & Wakefield raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!

You may already know, but I want to share a little more about why this fight is so personal to me. Last June I lost my father, Porter, to brain cancer. He was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of tumor called glioblastoma. Glioblastoma has been in the news lately. It's the same form of cancer afflicting Senator John McCain. It is also the subject of some highly innovative therapy trials and research. While the break throughs didn't come in time to help my dad, there is hope for others.

Race for Hope - DC is a fun, inspirational and family friendly event that supports National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure in their quest to find a cure for brain tumors. I believe in their mission - won’t you join me?  Join The POD Squad and let’s have some fun while we support this great cause!

If you plan to run/walk, please go to this site (I know, so many links) and order your offical, limited edition POD Squad shirt to be worn during the race: https://www.customink.com/g/nsq0-00ba-zmzv

Thank you VERY much and I can’t wait to have you as part of my team!
