In 2010 we lost my husband, Mark Sherman to a brain tumor after a nine year battle.  As many people have shorter survival rates , we were lucky.  My son Michael had his dad long enough to remember him, and I got more years of happy memories. But 40 is too young to die, and 11 is too young to lose a father.  Mark not only fought the disease but was an avid supporter by fundraising and support of fellow survivors.  Please help me honor his memory by supporting The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cushman & Wakefield.  It raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors! Please sign up to donate, or better yet please come out and join our team, Sherman’s Army to walk with us. Thanks for your support!

With all my love,

Wendy Pflaum-Sherman
