In April of 2017, Karen Cook was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma. After many long months spent battling the brain tumor, Karen passed away on November 15th, 2017. She will be remembered foremost for the tremendous love she showed her children and grandchildren. Karen enjoyed her life through many visits to the beach, craft fairs, attending Ravens' games and tailgates (or as she called them,"bumper to bumpers") and walking outside enjoying nature.
Please join the Cook Family to celebrate the life and memory of Ms. Karen Cook by participating in the Race for Hope. Donations will go towards the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure. We appreciate all of the love and support we have received so far and look forward to surrounding ourselves with loved ones as we rally together around this important cause.
We hope to see you on May 6th!
